Prayer changes me. When we purposefully and consistently pray, we see accurately the world around us. When we are not in a heart posture of consistent prayer, we don't see those in authority and the world around us accurately. We see from our perspective: our offenses, frustrations, justifications, and excuses. But when we entreat the Lord--when we pray--our eyes clear.
