May 13, 2014Thoughts from Mark
As our next CORE gathering draws closer, I felt it important to keep the vision for the CORE in front of all us. Click here to see the event
Why do we gather? We love one another. The resulting culture of that shared love is contagious. It looks for places to go and grow. The kingdom must advance. The more we connect, the more we love. The stronger the CORE, the stronger the culture. That strength creates momentum that begins to shift more than just our family. It influences our city and even the nations.
What happens at a CORE gathering? We connect. We laugh and cry together. We seek the best in one another while covering the worst. We listen to one another, catching a greater vision of the Lord, each other and ourselves. We invite each other into our lives in a spirit of vulnerability, trust and boldness.
Is it important that I participate? YES! Without you, there are gaps in our love, in our family. Your heart, your vision – who you are – is vital to a strong kingdom culture we are developing. You’re not needed as much as you are wanted.
Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king. (I Peter 2:17)
May Jesus be known by our love for one another. THAT’s why we gather the CORE.
