I had a dream on March 29th.

I was in the WHO sanctuary. Mark had given an invitation for people to come up front. There were a full row of chairs lined up in front of the stage, facing out towards the congregation. The row of chairs spanned the room from wall to wall.

Myself and three others of the WHO family were in the chairs, all the way to the left. I was in the first chair next to the booth; each chair in the row had a person in it. Mark was praying for those that were in the chairs, but he didn’t get to our side.

Then, all of us in the chairs, and everyone in the room, fell asleep. When I woke up, everyone was coming to. I did not see Mark anymore.

We all got up to leave. I was near the door at the back of the sanctuary, leading to the main exit. I was holding a jacket; someone had left it. I asked someone nearby if it was his, but said no. So I left it in the sanctuary.

Then, I was in a woman’s vehicle, and she was driving. I knew that she had been at WHO that day. I asked her if she saw what had happened (when everyone fell asleep) and she gave me a confused look, like she didn’t know what I was talking about. She parked her vehicle in front of a store. I saw an older man to our left—he was getting out of a passenger car door nearby, saying: “I guess I won’t get that for my kids this year. I can’t afford it.”

What the Father is showing me:

EVERYONE fell asleep. There are things in our life (individually, and together as family) that we are asleep to. The Father wants us to become aware of them. These may be things we feel may be perfectly ok to have in our lives, but the Father wants us to lay them aside so we can fully walk out what He has for us.

The jacket left behind. Some are still not willing to carry what the Father has for them to do. He has something special for each one of us. Like the coat of many colors that Joseph had. He has something for us to carry.

The older man getting out of his car saying he can’t afford to purchase something for his kids. Some are not willing to pay the cost of giving up lesser things that He has been prompting them to release. Not wanting to pay the price of doing this so they can fully walk in Him. He got out of his vehicle. He stopped moving forward.

I spent that day going to a few scriptures and was in prayer about it all.

I went to 1 Thessalonians 5: 6-11:

so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober. For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing…

Sober here means to be alert in being all that you are in Him. If we say we want His fullness in our lives, it is not OK to excuse or hold on to things are aren’t of Him and His ways.

…whether we are awake or asleep we will live with Him… Yes, He will love us either way. But the better way is to be awake and being integral about being fully all that you are.

…to encourage and build each other up… Take place in people’s lives. If they are not fully being all that they can be, take your place and encourage them to be that person through His love.

…the breastplate of faith and love… is what guards our heart and the …helmet, hope of salvation… protecting our thoughts. Both working together to help keep us awake and alert. To daily use both.

Stand your ground. Listen to what He will say. How will we reply when we are reproved? Record the vision and scribe it on tablets that one who reads it may RUN. For the vision is yet for the appointed time. It hastens towards the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it, for it will certainly come, it will not delay. Habakkuk 2

This was encouragement for everyone. Even though the Father wants to bring things to light at WHO, His vision for us will come to pass. To run even when the vision is for an appointed time. We don’t stay still. We move forward knowing it will come to pass.

..Love does no wrong to a neighbor, therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let me behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts… Romans 13: 10-12

Love is what will keep us from those things that are not of Him.

Personally, about 8 or 9 years ago, I struggled with a certain sin. But I just became so hungry for Jesus that it went away. His love overtakes sin in us. Ask the Father, “what are the things You want to bring into the light?” Ask Him for hunger. Allow your hunger for Jesus to be larger than that thing.

…Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you. But you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this: ‘I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Behold, I will cause those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and make them know that I have loved you… Revelation 3:2-9

Because we are willing to search our hearts and allow Him to help us get rid of those things that are not of Him, He will help us bring those things down.

Choose to pay the cost of following Him and have the gold of who He is, so that you can shine pure and white. The shame of what was in your life will be no longer.

Later in Rev 3:20-21, we have such a promise: He who hears His voice and opens the door, He will come INTO HIM and will dine with him and you with Him. He will come into you and show you His love and new and amazing things about His heart. He who overcomes will sit with Him on His throne!

Purity is so important at this time. At WHO, the Father is doing amazing things but He is going to be doing more amazing things! We need to be pure. We need to accept the cost.

Overcoming is so rewarding. Even though He is showing us these things we WILL overcome and He will bring things to pass. His grace abounds.

I thought it was interesting that being asleep is often related to drunkenness or not being sober. In this dream, being asleep was a picture for allowing ourselves to be unaware of the things that are not of Him in our lives. We can’t say, “He loves me, and He is with us, so it’s ok.” Its not ok.

In order to walk out what is coming, we need to pay the cost and walk purely, so His heart can fully be known. So we can walk out what He has for us. So we will not be like the man in the dream who couldn’t afford to buy what it was he wanted to for his kids. When we give up our unhealthy desires and choose His life and His way, it will not only affect us, but generations to come.

In His Love,
